Updated: Oct 9, 2023

Our CEO & Founder, Paula Mills and Growth Director, David Molina, recently attended the ALABC Brisbane Annual Dinner on September 26, 2023. The event was proudly sponsored by The University of Queensland and Russell Mineral Equipment.

Since 1989, the Australia-Latin America Business Council (ALABC) has been building bridges between Australia and Latin American countries. ALABC works closely with businesses and government representatives to break down trade barriers, promote market access, and raise awareness of opportunities in the Latin American region.

The event's key speaker was Queensland Treasurer and Minister for Trade and Investment, Honourable Cameron Dick MP, who discussed collaboration in international education, tourism, trade, and investment between Queensland and Latin America. Additional speakers included Brett Lovegrove from The University of Queensland, who talked about global partnerships, and His Excellency Ronald Recinos, Guatemala's Ambassador, who emphasized the growing Australia-Latin America relations.

The ALABC Brisbane Annual Dinner sparked enlightening discussions on various topics, particularly the opportunities for collaboration between Australia and Latin America. The event illuminated the path for businesses and individuals interested in sectors such as education, tourism, trade, and investment in Latin America.

ALABC continues to play a crucial role in fostering collaboration and facilitating opportunities for growth on a global scale. This event underscores the importance of working together and the potential for success in the Latin American market.
